However, even IF the company delivers on their promise, that ranking could only last a week or a few days. In addition, the desired keyword may be a “dead” term, meaning a very LOW (or ZERO) conversion rate term. For example, if you are a real estate agent, you may be under the impression that if you get ranked for “real estate” your web site will generate MASSIVE business or leads. But, that is NOT the case and unfortunately most internet marketing “experts”/consultants do NOT have the level of expertise to educate, inform or warn the client on this fact. And, in the end the client pays thousands to be ranked for keywords that have a big ZERO ROI.
